    Solaris Multi Battle League

    Post by Jace_The_Chimchar on 17/2/2014, 20:13

    Hi guys,

    Welcome to Solaris' First Ever Multi Battle Championship. Something like this has never been done before, so apologies for having a rather wordy post however I will need to explain it clearly.

    First of all, to enter the tournament, you will require a partner for your team, you are free to choose whoever you like, (you can even pick a friend who is not on the forum, however they will be required to register with the site). Please make one post below stating who your team is composed of.

    Unlike our previous tournaments, this will be based on a league table system, meaning that if you lose, you can still participate or even win. Similarly, because of this, you are allowed to edit your teams at any point in the tournament, however once a match is started, you cannot change your Pokemon.

    Matches will be best 2/3 battles and replays must be saved, and battle codes sent to the tournament admins. Tournament admins will be allowed to participate to help with the numbers. To help make it fair, there are several admins monitoring the tournament.

    The tournament's length will depend on the amount of teams that participate. In the event of a tie at the end, there will be matches to decide the podium places.

    The league will be composed of “x” number of teams and during the tour each team must battle every other team at least once. Depending on the number of teams it could be twice.

    We at Solaris know that people have lives outside of Pokemon, and as a result there will not be a strict timetable, however please be aware that if you are unorganised about when you could participate, it could slow the entire operation. We ask, that at the start of a round, you organise a time where you will all be available to battle. This is not impossible however there might need to be some compromise.

    The league will be based on a points system;
    Win = 3
    Draw = 1
    Loss= 0

    Whoever has the most points wins.

    A League Table will be drawn up once we have an idea of how many teams will participate. We will keep you posted as we have information

    Solaris League Rules apply. Find them here;
    http://solarisleague.userboard.net/t11-solaris-league-rules

    • Hazards and Weather are allowed.
    • Species clause counts so that only 1 pokemon of the same species is allowed for both players on a team.
    • Item clause is separated between the 2 players. Thus, a team could have 2 pokemon with leftovers (etc.) as long as the pokemon are used by different players.
    • Mega Evolutions are allowed, however don't feel like you have to use them. Teams that perform well without a mega, will be more likely to win the "creativity prize"

    There will be prizes at the end of the tournament; 1 Pokemon fully bred for both winners of the tournament, but also 1 Pokemon fully bred for the people who the tournament admins feel created the most original team. So don't think it's all about the winning Smile

    As always, stay sexy people,
    Jace
